- Positive mold of polystyrene rigid foam

- Remove hardened laminate from the positive mold
- Slice alongside the laminate structure, and separate from the form without any damage
- Glued parts together and laminate again
- Using the hand lay-up method and fibreglass and polyester resin, the walls of the assembled dolphin were about 5mm (1/5 inch) thick
- Primed and painted using airbrush
