Who doesn’t know it, the fantastic, colorful and delicious world of HARIBO sweets! The year 2020 marks the 100th anniversary of the world-famous confectionery company.
For the big birthday image campaign ACCENTFORM was allowed to produce some 3d-images of the 100 years HARIBO logo. A unique logo copy of about 3.5m in size welcomes visitors and employees in the foyer of the Haribo headquarters in Grafschaft. More than forty smaller copies (approx. 50cm high) were delivered to the various Haribo sites in Germany and abroad.
For the XXL copy of the logo, the prototype was first made from Styrofoam using the 3D data supplied for illustration purposes. The negative shape of the logo was then milled into PU sheets and subsequently molded with GRP using the hand-laminate process. The surface was sanded by hand and colored using airbrush according to exact customer specifications.
For the smaller logo replicas, negative molds made of silicone were produced for the individual letters in a series, which were poured out by hand with resin. The full-size “sweet” letters and the “licorice number” hundred were then also given a true-to-the-original airbrush paint job. For these logo sculptures, we also made matching pedestals with a GRP surface, on which they stood to effect.
