The material is very lightweight and can be easily shaped by milling, sawing or hot wire.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The surface<\/strong> of EPS\/Styropor\u00ae is open and not resistant to moisture, so objects made of this material are not suitable for outdoor use without a coating. Styrofoam surfaces are easy to paint, coat or laminate, which increases their durability and stability and expands their range of applications. As a rule, polystyrene and rigid foam models are intended for further surface coating with GRP\/CFRP using the hand laminate process or special paintwork.
