Riesige Goldene Enzensberger Sterne

Huge stars

It would be hard for customers to imagine a department store during Advent without Christmas decorations, glitter and shine.

For the Christmas atmosphere in the Ernst-August-Galerie in Hanover, we were allowed to make our contribution. According to a design sketch of First Christmas by ROSENAU we made three huge Enzensberger stars.

For this project we designed and built a mold with a diameter of two meters. Subsequently, the stars were implemented in the hand laminate process from FRP and painted with a metallic color in gold. The company Firma Homeier-Lichttechnik in Nienstädt was responsible for the illumination with more than 160 light points.

A special challenge for us was to lay the optical fibers through a small flap in the body of the star so that they could be bundled in front of the light source. Just in time for Advent, the three golden Enzensberger stars shone in their sparkling glory and contributed to the pre-Christmas joy of the customers.
