CONCRETE IN SHAPE – WITH FORMLINERS FROM ACCENTFORM

In 2010, ACCENTFORM already built the special molds for the slab formwork for BBS Schalungsbau GmbH for the underground part of the expansion of the Städel Museum in Frankfurt. formwork units for ceiling . Today, the new Städel Museum building impresses with its organically shaped ceiling geometry over an area of 2,000 m².

BBS Schalungsbau GmbH continued its close collaboration with ACCENTFORM GmbH on the formwork for the large staircase, the central access to the newly created underground exhibition areas.

The organic curves in the ceiling area are reminiscent of the harmonious lines of modern yachts. The underside of the stairs impresses with its flowing transition from a hollow shape to a spherical design. All parts were pre-milled in PS rigid foam and encased in GRP.
