In contrast to thermoplastic materials, there is no need to worry about fire protection class and stability with the GRP material we use: the material is known to be non-combustible and, above all, does not drip in the event of fire. Further advantages of GRP: resistance to ageing and weathering, chemical resistance and low weight in relation to high stability. Economical ball sizes in GRP designs start from a diameter of 800 mm and end at approx. 30 m for structural reasons. One-piece spheres are available up to a diameter of 2,500 mm (2.5 m).
