GRP spheres, domes, radomes
Building & Architecture
We get your ideas rolling! the production of large-format GRP spheres, globes, domes, domes and radomes. The geometry of these objects is actually clearly described by the diameter. Customer requests require additional design details such as suspension points, flanges, cut-outs, fire protection, different surface finishes and technical functions that can be ideally implemented in fiber composite structures. TO THE CONFIGURATOR Safety is of course a hot topic for public spaces. In contrast to thermoplastic materials, there is no need to worry about fire protection class and stability with the GRP material we use: the material is known to be non-combustible and, above all, does not drip in the event of fire. Further advantages of GRP: resistance to ageing and weathering, chemical resistance and low weight in relation to high stability. Thanks to the GRP material, the fiberglass ball has unbeatable advantages over a design in thermoplastic material: Customizable and durable coloring through painting Fire protection is not an issue, no burning, no dripping Gates and openings can be easily integrated ACCENTFORM has the largest range of GRP molds for large-format balls. Economical ball sizes in GRP designs start from a diameter of 800 mm and end at approx. 30 m for structural reasons. One-piece spheres are available up to a diameter of 2,500 mm (2.5 m). In addition, the spherical objects are usually segmented for logistical reasons. ACCENTFORM manufactures all ball sizes offered from high-quality, CNC-milled production molds. Balls ranging in size from 600 mm to 4500 mm are no problem for us.   Our delivery sizes are: GRP ball 600 mm Ø, (60 cm or 0.60 m GRP ball 770 mm Ø, (77 cm or 0.77 m) GRP ball 1,000 mm Ø, (100 cm or 1.00 m) GRP ball 1,250 mm Ø, (125 cm or 1.25 m) GRP ball 1,500 mm Ø, (150 cm or 1.5 m) GRP ball 1,600 mm Ø, (160 cm or 1.6 m) GRP ball 1,730 mm Ø, (173 cm or 1.73 m) GRP ball 1,910 mm Ø, (200 cm or 2.0 m) GRP ball 2,200 mm Ø, (220 cm or 2.2 m) GRP ball 2,500 mm Ø, (250 cm or 2.5 m) GRP ball 2,950 mm Ø, (295 cm or 3.0 m) GRP sphere 3,360 mm Ø, (336 cm or 3.36 m) GRP ball 4,000 mm Ø, (400 cm or 4.0 m) GRP ball 4,500 mm Ø, (450 cm or 4.5 m)
