The AXE effect – with us even in oversize as a GRP advertising object
In order to increase awareness of the various AXE shower gel directions among a young target group, the agency DOKYO had eight 3.5 m high, walk-in shower gel bottles set up as shower cubicles at open-air festivals.
ACCENTFORM developed the large forms on a turnkey basis: DOKYO’s advertisers were able to fully rely on ACCENTFORM GmbH’s extensive experience in the field of special GRP structures for planning, design, material selection, construction, labeling, installation and transport logistics.
To achieve the most realistic structure possible, our technical product designers scanned an original bottle using a surface laser and then not only developed the geometry of the half-shells, but also tailored the matching transport racks. This allowed these original showers to go on tour with the music to various locations in Germany.
As so often, the client praised ACCENTFORM’s adherence to deadlines and budgets, and this was the only way the agency could concentrate fully on the other marketing activities for this campaign. Those in the know will already have noticed: Even though everything in this order appears to be “cast from a single mold”, the hollow bodies were produced at ACCENTFORM using the much more efficient hand laminating process. Our in-house paint shop did a great job to produce the AXE effect in a photorealistic and oversized way. After the final wrapping, nothing stood in the way of the music tour of the AXE shower gel bottles.
