Hello Kitty figure celebrates her 50th birthday
The friendly kitten has been delighting fans worldwide for half a century. She is a symbol of friendliness, timeless pop culture and positive emotions that connect generations. To mark the anniversary, the Supercandy Pop-Up Museum in Cologne has created a special photo spot that is sure to bring great joy to Hello Kitty fans.
For this special anniversary event, we were commissioned to produce three large, different Hello Kitty figures and an XXL bow. Based on the 3D data supplied, we milled the models out of hard foam in several segments using our 5-axis milling machines and joined them together. The models were then coated with fiberglass using the hand laminating process. The multi-colored painting according to special customer specifications and the gloss finish were also carried out in our modern paint booths. We are delighted to have made a contribution to Kitty’s big event.
In the Hello Kitty 50th Anniversary Special section, Kitty’s followers can now take happy photo shoots with her and remember her 50th birthday in a positive way.
