More vitamin D with the horse solarium
Due to the many positive effects on the horse, the horse solarium is being used more and more in riding stables – and not just in the cold season.
Depending on the type of housing, horses in boxes often do not always get enough natural sunlight. Targeted, warming and relaxing irradiation in the solarium has a demonstrably positive effect on the health and well-being of horses.
On the one hand, the device is often used for quick drying after washing horses or after training to prevent colds and boost immunity. Irradiating the horses before training loosens the muscles and promotes better dissolution of the lactic acid in the tendons. The infrared rays activate the horse’s circulation, which increases its sporting performance. Horse solarium can also be used to treat back pain and even improve wound healing.
On behalf of the company Summerwind-Pferdesolarien we manufacture the GRP housing for the solariums in series production. The housing consists of an upper and lower part and is manufactured using a hand laminate process. The GRP shells are fitted with IR radiators and fans by the customer and fully assembled. They are then ready for delivery to provide the gentle four-legged friends with additional vitamin D in the future.
